1) Login to Your Account

- Once you have successfully created your account, navigate to your dashboard and click on "Create a Campaign."

- Select Zapier as the platform through which you will take action on reward deliveries.

- Determine the type of reward campaign you wish to run.

- Provide a suitable name for your campaign to easily identify and manage it.

- Determine the type of gift you would like to offer and specify the country you are targeting for your campaign.

Keep in mind that you have the option to select the Reward Link gift card, which allows the recipient to choose their preferred gift, or you can handpick a specific gift to offer. Additionally, you have the flexibility to upload your own gift or even customize a product that will be printed and delivered on demand.

- Define the start date and end date for your campaign, specifying the period during which participants can be rewarded. Click "Next" to proceed.

- Set up the gift details by specifying the quantity of participants you plan to reward. Select the specific gift you want to offer and its corresponding value.

- Choose the security rules for gift delivery. You can opt for direct access to the gift, allow the confirmation process by email to handle delivery, or manually control and validate each request. Click "Next" to continue.

- Carefully review all the details of your campaign, including the chosen settings, gift information, and security rules. Once you are satisfied with everything, proceed to launch the campaign.

- After launching your campaign, open Zapier and proceed to create a new Zap.

In this example, we will illustrate the process using SurveyMonkey as the trigger. In this scenario, you will set up the Zap to send a gift each time a respondent completes a survey.

To manage the trigger part of your Zap (using SurveyMonkey as the example), follow these steps:

Connect your SurveyMonkey account to Zapier
Click on the "Connect an Account" button and follow the instructions to authorize Zapier's access to your SurveyMonkey account.

Select the survey
Once your account is connected, choose the specific survey you want to use as the trigger for sending rewards. You will see a list of available surveys within your SurveyMonkey account.

Test the trigger
After selecting the survey, click on the "Test Trigger" button to ensure that the connection between SurveyMonkey and Zapier is working correctly. Zapier will retrieve sample data from the survey to validate the trigger. Make sure the test is successful before proceeding to the next steps.

Now it's time to select appyReward as the action app for your Zap. Follow these steps

- Search for appyReward: In the "Choose an Action App" search bar, type "appyReward" and select it from the options that appear.

- Choose the action: Select the "Reward Automation"

- Connect your appyReward account: If you haven't connected your appyReward account to Zapier yet, click on the "Connect an Account" button and follow the instructions to authorize Zapier's access to your appyReward account.

To access the full capabilities of appyReward's API, you will need to obtain your unique API key.

Follow the link below for a detailed guide on how to retrieve your API key and seamlessly integrate appyReward into your applications:
How to get your API Key

You will come across a dropdown menu called "Reward Campaign."

- Click on the dropdown menu and search for your campaign within the list. Please note that only campaigns that have been launched in appyReward will appear in this section. If you do not see your campaign, ensure that it has been properly launched in appyReward before proceeding.

- Map the field called "Email Address" with the corresponding email field.

From the available options, select the email field in SurveyMonkey that contains the email addresses of the respondents.

(Optional) - Map the field called "Unique Identifier" in appyReward with a unique identifier from the event, response, or any other relevant situation.

If you want to ensure the reward is linked to a specific event or response and prevent any potential misuse by bots, you can choose to map the "Unique Identifier" field. This step helps maintain accuracy and control over the reward delivery process.

Select the corresponding field or variable from the dropdown menu that contains the desired unique identifier. This field should be available within the data retrieved from the trigger app (e.g., SurveyMonkey). By linking the reward to a unique event reference, you can ensure that rewards are only issued once per event, response, or situation.

While mapping the "Unique Identifier" field is optional, it adds an extra layer of security and helps maintain the integrity of your reward system by preventing unauthorized or duplicate rewards.

- You have the option to either test the action and simulate the gift delivery process or skip the test, depending on your specific campaign requirements.

If you are conducting a demo campaign or want to ensure that the gift delivery process is working correctly, you can select "Test the action" to simulate the reward delivery and get a demo gift card. This allows you to validate the workflow and ensure that everything is functioning as expected.

On the other hand, if you are launching a real campaign and do not want to spend a reward during the testing phase, you can choose to click "Skip test." This bypasses the test process, and you can proceed with confidence, knowing that the Zap will trigger the reward delivery in the actual campaign without expending a gift during testing.

With your SurveyMonkey trigger and appyReward action properly configured, including the association of the reward campaign and the mapping of the email field, you are now ready to publish your Zap and initiate the rewarding process!

- Click on the "Publish" or "Turn on Zap" button. This will activate your Zap, making it live and ready to start rewarding your contacts based on the defined triggers.
